Kuala Lumpur : FELDA Global Ventures (FGV), the common investors only indirect exposure to the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) activities are active on Bursa Malaysia today.
FGV is the 21st most active stock on the exchange. The shares are up three sen to RM1.88 a share.
Earlier in the morning , MyStock 118 reported that Felda’s investment unit will ink an agreement this week to acquire a large portion of Indonesian planter Eagle High Plantations Tbk.
The agreement runs close to an earlier planned foray by FGV to buy a 37 per cent stake in Eagle High from Rajawali Group.
Rajawali is controlled by the golf loving billionaire Tan Sri Peter Sondakh.
A year ago, FGV proposed to buy the 37 per cent stake from Sondakh for US$631mil in cash and US$47mil in new FGV shares
