PETALING JAYA: Top Glove Corp Bhd’s share price rose as much as 46 sen this morning after the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) increased their respective stakes in the company.
The stock rose as much as 46 sen or 4.1% to trade at a high of RM11.68 from its last adjusted closing price of RM11.22, making it the top gainer on the bourse this morning. At midday, the stock rose 32 sen or 2.85% to RM11.54 with 4.07 million shares done.
Yesterday, Top Glove told Bursa Malaysia that EPF had acquired 2.22 million shares last Wednesday (Oct 10), raising its stake in Top Glove to 93.94 million shares or 7.35%.
Meanwhile, KWAP had acquired a total of 17,600 shares last Thursday (Oct 11), raising its stake in Top Glove to 69.17 million shares or 5.41%.
