Hock Seng Lee consortium bags RM90.99m substation contract

PETALING JAYA: Construction company Hock Seng Lee Bhd (HSL) and its partners have clinched a RM90.99 million contract from Energy Bhd for the substation project in Kuching, .

HSL’s partners involved in the substation project are India’s Larsen & Toubro Ltd and its associate Larsen & Toubro (East Asia) Sdn Bhd.

The group told the stock exchange that the consortium, in which HSL owns a 45% stake, has been awarded the contract for the Matang 275/132/33/kV substation project in Kuching.

The scope of works for HSL includes earth works, pilling, civil infrastructure works, building and its related mechanical and electrical works.



The 32-month contract will be commenced on Jan 7, 2019.

HSL expects the contract to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets as the project progresses during the contract period.
