PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) international reserves amounted to
US$102.1 billion (RM415.6 billion) as at January 31, 2019, a 0.4% increase compared with US$101.7 billion as at January 15, 2019.
The central bank said in a statement that the reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.4 months of retained imports and is 1.0 time total short-term external debt.
